This unit introduces students to the fundamentals of GPT architecture, its different variants, practical applications, and multimodal capabilities. The concepts are explained in a simple, structured, and practical manner, helping students understand how GPT models can process information and generate meaningful content.

You will begin by studying the architecture and variants of GPT models and understanding the basic principles behind Transformer-based language models. You will then explore how GPT models are used for text generation, conversational AI, and dialogue systems, providing the foundation for many modern AI-powered applications.

The unit also focuses on case-study-based implementation of GPT tasks, allowing students to connect theoretical concepts with practical applications. A key case study explores how a GPT-based chatbot can enhance an E-Commerce application's customer support service by providing automated and intelligent assistance to users.
