This unit introduces students to powerful Python libraries such as NumPy and Pandas, which are widely used for numerical computing, data manipulation, analysis, and preprocessing. The concepts are explained in a simple, practical, and beginner-friendly manner, helping students understand how raw data can be transformed into a useful format for further analysis.
You will begin by learning how to install and use NumPy and Pandas, followed by important NumPy concepts such as array operations, reshaping, broadcasting, and indexing. You will also learn how to work with CSV files, filter data, and perform essential data cleaning operations using Pandas.
